We are the region’s only real estate association exclusively comprised of and dedicated to the support and empowerment of independent REALTORS®. Our membership includes independent real estate offices covering every corner of Massachusetts, from Salisbury to Cape Cod and Greater Boston to the Berkshires.

Our mission is to provide the same opportunities for support, training and advice offered by franchises so our members can grow their business, maintain market share, focus on client relationships and succeed as independent REALTORS®.


History of the
Realty Guild

The Realty Guild was established in 1987 by a small group of independent broker-owners as a forum through which to share ideas. Over the years, we have grown into a robust association with an expanded membership, services and perks.

Today, the Realty Guild includes more than 45 offices with more than 500 agents covering more than 200 communities in Massachusetts. Through the Realty Guild, members are able to tap into the power that a larger entity can offer. We give them the professional boost that allows them to dedicate time and energy to clients, not training, recruiting and marketing.

Many of our long-time members have been independent REALTORS® for decades. They offer rock-solid, on-the-ground real market experience with buying and selling homes in their core communities.

Members must be REALTORS® (members of the National Association of REALTORS®), and must be approved by the membership as a whole. There is only one member per town, other than large cities such as Boston.
